Sonu Nigam has always been one of Bollywood much loved singers. However, he isn’t heard so much in today’s times. He has finally opened up about why.

He told Pune Mirror, “It’s simple. These days those kinds of songs are not made that need a very good singer. And when such songs are made – good singers only sing them. Arijit Singh, Armaan Malik are great singers. So when good songs are made they are singing.”

He also commented on actors now going behind the mic and singing, “That’s not in our hands. That belongs to the music companies. It’s not in the power of composers as well. It’s a different ball game altogether.”
