Therefore, the following activities are permissible in relation to the song

which is in public domain on an
as is basis

Recreating the song/ remixing
the song

Actor singing the song in the Permission from owner of
lm underlying works would be
needed.
Using only song without visual Permission from owner of
synched in background underlying works would be
needed.

In the same lm, Screenplay was written by Bhagwan Dada who died on
February 4, 2002. Therefore the screenplay of the lm Albela will come in
public domain on January 1, 2063.
If any person wishes to make an adaptation such as a remake of the lm Albela
without permission from owner of the screenplay, such remake can be made
only after 2063.
However, audio visual clipping of the lm on an as is basis can be used.
