1. What made you get into music?

Avishek- Since my childhood I loved music as my parents loved music too and always wanted me to pursue music in life. 

2. Which two composers you like the most and why? 

Avishek- Prokofiev and Beethoven are my all time favorites. Sergie Prokifiev for his musical genius, his belief that art can consciously extol human life and lead to a radiant future, same time the element of chaotic madness in his creation. Ludwig Van Beethoven teaches us how music is a much higher revelation than all wisdom & philosophy. It is the power of music to carry one directly into the mental state of the composer. The listener has no choice. It is like hypnotism. 

3. Any advice for this current generation of Composers? 

Avishek - Listen more, train your ears & mind. Everytime you listen something try to learn something from it. "Learn, unlearn & apply" 

4. What do you work toward in your free time?

Avishek - Apart from music i'm a film buff, I watch atleast one film in a day. Whenever I get time I try to watch a movie. 

5. What inspires you?

Avishek - Nature, People, Movies, listening to musical works and most importantly the calling from the heart. 

6. What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?

Avishek - Nothing that funny has happened recently, but i'm a fun loving person, I like to be happy and keep people around me in the happy space. 

7. How would you convince someone to do something they didn’t want to do?

Avishek- First I would tell them why they should do it, how important it is, and finally would tell them to follow their heart. 

8. If you woke up and had 2,000 unread emails and could only answer 300 of them, how would you choose which ones to answer?

Avishek- I do get a lot of emails related to my work and hence use a keyword filter for close associates and mails marked important or urgent. 

9. What’s the most interesting thing about you that no one knows till date?

Avishek- I am a big time foodie and I love to try new cuisines and dishes. Also a very good cook in my free time. 

10. If a Genie suddenly appears and grants you three wishes, what do you intend to wish for?

Avishek- A chance to met my father one last time, this will conclude the rest. 

11. Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer? 

Avishek- Neither I hunt nor I gather, I like to stand and walk with the like minded and people who believe in collective vision. 

12. If you’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? 

Avishek- I would be blue, just like the magnanimity abundance of the skies and the seas. 

13. If you complete a contract of a big budget movie and you step outside the office and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do? 

Avishek- Technically I would invest the money somewhere it can grow. And set some new goals for my music production company Tantra Music. 

14. What do you think about when you’re alone in your car? 

Avishek- Not much while driving, but I love the midnight drive in Mumbai city, light music and the city vibes makes a perfect combo. 

15. If you could wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, who would you pick and what would you do? 

Avishek- Wake up as Frank Sinatra and just be him. 

16. If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why? 

Avishek- If given a choice between animal and bird, I would prefer any migrating bird, and see the world from the bird's eye view. 

17. What was the last gift you gave someone? 

Avishek- Things those I get for my sister mostly, last one was a mobile phone. 

18. Which is your favourite movie?

Avishek- Schindler's List & Turtles Can Fly. I love all films which has human drama and bundled with emotions. 

19. What's your favourite holiday destination?

Avishek- Countries in the pacific: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji 

20. What sports do you enjoy watching?

Avishek- Football and Cricket 

21. What is your favourite song?

Avishek- Beśame Mucho 

22. What celebrity would you rate as a perfect 10?

Avishek- Michael Jackson (USA) and Kishore Kumar (India) for their musical wholesomeness. 

23.  If you could pass on one message for your fans or followers, what message would that be?

Avishek- Never give up on your dreams and aspirations, if you find the road ahead to be tough, you may take a different route, but your goal should be to reach the destination desired however much time it takes. The best part is the journey, enjoy every moment of it. 

24. What’s the most you watch on TV and why do you choose to watch it? 

Avishek- Not much of a TV person, mostly online shows, but I watch the Kapil Sharma show for its spontaneous comedy, lifts your mood. 

25. What is your superstition?

Avishek- To use perfume before leaving home for work, it's more for positivity rather than just being superstitious.
