About Me
Mr Alphons Joseph is a well renowned, award-winning
Music Director, Performer, Playback Singer, Educationalist and a
rising legend in the South Indian Film industry, especially in Malayalam film industry.
One of the most promising and versatile Music Directors today, Mr Joseph has a
flourishing career spanning 18 years of composing and directing
Music in the Indian Film industry with some of the top stars singing
to his tunes. He has performed live, alongside the legend
AR Rahman in multiple world tours including the Jai-Ho tour.
Alphons has performed in over 800 concerts worldwide in front of
world dignitaries like Pope Francis, sharing stage also with
luminaries like Hariharan, Mohini Dey, Shankar Mahadevan, Ranjit
Barot, Javed Ali, Benny Dayal, Balabhaskar etc. Alphons who shot to fame
nationally as a playback singer through his soulful rendition of
A.R. Rahman’s ‘Aaromale’, has since gone on to sing chart-buster songs in
Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies.
A multiple Kalaprathibha and child prodigy, its Mr Joseph’s sheer
passion for Music which pushed him beyond his IT Graduation, as he
went on to become a highly qualified Musician from the London
Trinity College and a Masters in Carnatic Music.
He founded the Crossroads Music India Pvt Ltd. in 2013,
the Educational vertical of which is the highly reputed, Crossroads
School of Music. An MESC accredited Training Provider, AVID
Learning Partner and an authorised Exam Centre for Trinity College
London, Crossroads has over five hundred students currently in
multiple campuses in India and a fast-growing international online
student community form over seven countries. Mr Joseph has made
numerous Media appearances and was a vocal trainer, groomer and
judge on multiple, popular Reality TV shows in the past.

- Alphons was awarded the 2004 Film Critics Award - Best Music Director award for the movie Jalolsavam.
- 2011 Amrita TV FEFKA Film Awards – Best Music Director award for the songs of the movie "Atmakadha".
- 2011 Vijay TV Music Awards – Best Debut Singer award for the song Aaromale.
- 2011 L-Channel Film & TV Awards – Best Music Director award for the songs of "Cocktail".
- 2011 Pala Communications Yuva Prathibha Awards – For all the achievements in the year 2010.
- 2011 Radio mirchi music Awards – Best Singer Nomination' for VTV Song Aaromale.
- 2024 Zepstone Arts Festival International Film Awards – Best Music Score awardfor the movie the Face of the Faceless .
