About Me
Yash Pathak – An accomplished music composer, producer, percussionist, sound engineer, and musicologist from Mumbai, Yash has been a key member of A.R. Rahman and Sachin Jigar’s band for 13 years. His musical journey has taken him to some of the world’s most prestigious platforms, including Coke Studio, TED Talks, the United Nations, IIFA, Amazon Prime series, and Sony TV’s Jammin’.
Beyond his extensive performance career, Yash has also contributed to music education. He served as a faculty member at A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory for seven years, where he mentored and inspired the next generation of musicians. Additionally, for the past seven years, he has been an integral part of the dynamic duo Sachin-Jigar’s band, adding depth and versatility to their live performances and recordings.

YP Music is an independent music label founded by Yash Pathak — an accomplished composer, producer, percussionist, sound engineer, and musicologist whose career spans global stages and acclaimed collaborations.
