MCAI - 21 Apr 2022

Indore’s first Drive In cinema was inaugurated on 15th April at the hands of Madhya Pradesh tourism and culture minister Usha Thakur. K.G.F. Chapter 2 is the opening attraction. This is bigger than the only other Drive In cinema in Madhya Pradesh, which is in Bhopal. Besides a capacity of 166 cars, it has 60 VIP semi-recliner seats and 260 pavilion seats.

Constructed as part of the Windasa Resorts and Park on the Rau bypass road, near the State Institute of Hotel Management, the Drive In cinema is owned by Suyash Maloo and Rishabh Sethi. It has been built on the public-private partnership (PPP) model. It is controlled by Deepak Joshi’s CMW Cinemas.
