One Of The Finest Film Score Composers Surender Sodhi is no more

Surender Sodhi (often credited as Surendra Sodhi) is one of the finest Indian film score composers who has composed background scores for notable Hindi films like Deewana, Soldier, Raja Hindustani, Baadshah, Hera Pheri and Special 26 besides Punjabi film Saab Bahadur for which he had even got nominated in the Jio Filmfare Awards 2018. He also worked as music director for many Punjabi Films & Punjabi Albums of Gurdas Mann, Malkit Singh, Hans Raj Hans, Dilshad Akhtar, Surinder Shinda and more. Also credited as
Shyam-Surendra, the duo jointly composed music for some films.

Sodhi, an active musician, and composer, always stood for the rights of background music players & musicians.

His breathed his last at nearly 4 AM on Thursday morning. His sudden demise has left many shocked in the Bollywood world. At the moment, he has been kept in the hospital and shall be brought home on Friday, at nearly 1 PM.

Surender has given Bollywood some of the finest scores in his film career. According to Wiki, he kick-started his Bollywood career with the 1992 release Deewana and went on to deliver some great work in Hit films like Special 26, Rustom, Toilet - Ek Prem Katha and many more 90s films. His work in the 1995 film Coolie No. 1 is till date on the lips of many.
